With the Perky-Pet® Vine Oriole Feeder, attracting orioles to your backyard has never been easier. The feederโs bright orange accents make it easy for orioles to spot when passing overhead. Oriole wonโt be able to resist the soft, flower-shaped feeding ports and vine-style perches inspired by nature. The perches also fold up to allow for space-saving storage when not in use. With three ports and a large 27 oz nectar capacity, youโll be able to accommodate plenty of hungry orioles.
For your convenience, the entire feeder comes apart to allow for effortless cleaning. Remove the ant moat, base, ports, and bottle with ease! In addition, the new and improved bottle has a wider opening, making it easy to access hard-to-reach spots, while also allowing for mess-free filling.
The Perky-Pet® Vine Oriole Feeder also features convenient insect defenses. The bee guards keep bees at bay, while orioles can still easily access the nectar. To keep ants away, fill the top of the lid with water to create a barrier that prevents them from crawling down to the ports.

I personally love this feeder and so do both the hummingbirds and the orioles my only negative on this feeder is I'm still waiting since last year for there to be replacement flowers for this feeder I did send a request in last year hoping to see them maybe this year but none thus far, I currently only have 2 of the 3 on mine had to cover the 3rd one so bees wouldn't get in but I lost my 3rd one to a raccoon thankfully that was the only thing he took off with but besides that both do enjoy this feeder very much by me and have no issues with it the hummingbirds actually prefer this one over the other ones not sure why when I put the same thing in all of them. Happy birds by me just would like to have 3 open ports for them.
I have the same experience as many of the others. Birds can not reach the "nectar".
Not sure who designed this, but they have little knowledge of bird's anatomy.
Orioles should be able to reach the nectar, we apologize that this has not been your experience. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can learn more and offer further help. - Susan

I'd give this feeder a 1/4 star if possible. I bought one of these from one of our local hardware stores and our orioles won't even land on it. They don't seem to like the perches on this feeder.
Thank you for sharing this feedback. We're sorry to hear that the birds did not take to this feeder. These comments and concerns have been shared with our Product Manager for review.

Once some adjustments were made, the birds love it including the hummingbirds. The first major design flaw...there is so much vacuum that very little nectar will flow into the feeding well. As mentioned in another review, drilling a small hole near the threads of the clear bottle portion of the feeder solves that problem. The second major design flaw...the feeding well does not fill high enough for the birds to reach the nectar. The ports that allow the nectar to flow into the feeding well are too short. Using a large drill bit, we drilled a hole above the filling port through both the orange base and clear bottle portions. The hole was kept below the height of the feeding well edge to prevent the nectar from overflowing into the outside section where the vines are attached. That allowed more nectar to flow into the feeding well which can now be easily reached by the birds. Since the hummers also enjoyed the nectar but were unable to sit on the vine perches, we glued 4" long round plastic popsicle sticks perpendicular to the vine perch halfway between the first leaf on the perch and the orange base. Before gluing the sticks to the vine perches, we hollowed out a section of the vine perch using a round file to allow for more gluing surface and that worked very well. The hummers love the perches but I think they had a little trouble seeing them at first as the sticks are white.
This is me saying this for the birds --they do no like the little perches on this feeder. I had 2 types of orioles now had to replace the feeder and got this one and have not seen ANY birds back to this feeder.
We are sorry to hear about this.ย Birds are creatures of habit and can take some time to adjust to a new feeder.ย You may want to try relocating the feeder to another area in your yard. Please feel free to reach out to us atย 1-855-737-5973 for further assistance.

Feeder doesn't let solution to the base. Once I figured that out and drilled a small hole through the threads of the clear container it worked like a charm. I actually bought another one and also had to drill it for a vent to let solution to base. I had 7 pairs of orioles visiting feeder last summer. I also put grape jelly on lid and the orioles love it. Humming birds enjoy feeding from it also.
Thank you for sharing this recent experience. We are sorry to learn that this occurred. This feeder is backed by a 30 day return policy and covered under a one year replacement policy. Reach out to us at 1-855-737-5973 for assistance.

We haven't seen our Oriole's since we hung up this feeder with the proper food. Very disappointed The humming birds even don't look at it. Waste of money!!!

I put this feeder out this morning and the orioles are acting like that can't get any food out. I checked it, tipped it a little at each port to see if the liquid would pour out, and it does. They jump on it to eat, try all ports, the hit the hummingbird feeder instead. The ports are too deep for them to get their beaks down to the food. Any suggestions? Luckily I only paid $10 for it.

This is not engineered for Orioles. The yellow flowers have long stems so that the Orioles can't reach the water. I took out the flowers and the holes are so large that bees can get in.
We would like to know more about your experience. Are orioles attempting to feed and unable to reach the nectar? Please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) for assistance. We are happy to help!
Do you sell replacement bee guards for this deluxe orange vine Oriole feeder? I purchased this feeder July of 2022 and two of the three guards were pulled out and carried by critters. I would like to replace them.
