Keeping Your Sweet Offerings Fresh Has Never Been Easier than with the Oriole Jelly Feeder
Did you know that like hummingbirds, orioles have a sweet tooth? They do! What better way to attract them than by offering their favorite sweet treat—jelly! Other jelly feeders on the market expose the jelly to the elements, causing it to mold and spoil quickly. The Perky-Pet® Oriole Jelly Feeder has an inverted jelly jar, ensuring that your jelly is kept fresh and covered. The 32 oz jar can also be interchanged with most standard jelly jars. The built-in stirrer allows the perfect amount of jelly to be dispensed into the tray. In addition, this feeder boasts a vibrant orange color to draw more orioles!
Circular Feeding Tray and Perches
Orioles love to perch while they feed. This jelly feeder features a large circular feeding tray with a wraparound perch so your orioles have plenty of room to feast! Orioles are known to be attracted to the color orange—the tray’s vibrant hue is sure to catch the eye of passing orioles and draw them to your yard.
Jelly Remains Fresh Inside the Inverted Jar
Jelly that is exposed to the elements quickly spoils and molds, which is bad for your birds. To keep your offerings fresh and protected from the elements, this feeder holds all of the jelly inside the inverted weatherproof jar so it lasts longer. In addition, the included bottle can be swapped with most 32 oz jelly jars, so there’s no need to scoop jelly when refilling. Remember to clean your feeder every few days to ensure that your orioles are receiving the freshest jelly supply.
Built-in Jelly Stirrer Allows for Even Dispensing
Jelly can be clumpy and sticky. Thanks to the built-in stirrer, this is no longer a problem. This simple device allows the perfect amount of jelly to be distributed into the tray every time. Simply turn the knob on the bottom of the tray to dispense more jelly.
Includes a Hanging Chain for Easy Placement
With the Perky-Pet® Oriole Jelly Feeder, you can have ultimate flexibility in placement thanks to the built-in hanging chain and hook. Hang it anywhere around your yard, patio or garden. In addition, the chain’s sturdy metal design provides the perfect balance to the tray so it won’t tip under an oriole’s weight.
“I've bought many oriole feeders and by far this is the best one. No mess filling up cups, you just put the jar of jelly on and twist the bottom. So easy to use. I have recommended this feeder to all my friends.” (Review from Anonymous)

The birds and I love the feeder ! The only draw back is the holes in the tray. The juice runs right out. I put duck tape over them and it seems to work for now. Thanks.
The birds love this feeder but the jelly is too thick to dispense on it's own. So unless you turn the paddle all the time the birds can't get to the jelly. Solution?
We bought this oriole feeder a few days ago so it would hold more jelly than our other feeder when we went on vacation. I put it out yesterday and we had some wind last night. This wind caused the feeder to flip over as it was top heavy from the jelly jar. I would not recommend this feeder if you are going to put it where it could be somewhat windy.
I'm so sorry to hear about this Ellen! Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback!

Great while it lasted

We loved it while it lasted - the Squirrels destroyed this and I used the glass jelly jars vs. the plastic one it came with. My suggestion for this feeder would be to make the base in metal similar to your plastic design. The grape jelly sure attracts these critters and they were relentless, even with it on our deck where there is a lot of human and dog traffic. The base is mostly useless now. The squirrels chewed through the jelly openings and there isn't enough sidewall to hold a jar. We did have this hung in a space we thought would be challenging for the squirrels, but they figured it out. It's disappointing as I was excited to get it after a backorder last Summer. The orioles did love it and would announce their arrival almost every time and chatter in between bites. They even brought their young over to teach them how to use it. Very cute.

I really like this feeder!

I really like this feeder! I did find that using the plastic jar provided is better than using the same size glass gar (glass is much heavier and tilts the feeder). The only thing I don't like is the dripping holes as they attract ants to the ground. I have so many bird that I have to refill often. I've recommended this feeder to others.
After using this, I wouldn't recommend it. The paddle isn't long/strong enough to bring the jelly downward. Who wants to go out each day and mess with that!

I had 2 of these set up last year. We had 2 pair of orioles the whole season. Biggest draw back I have not solved yet are the bees getting into the jar itself along with the tray. And the squirrels.
