Give them 5+ stars. By Mikethegirl

I have owned the rose petal feeders for over 7 years all purchased from Home Depot. Never any problems. Easy to fill and clean. Decided this year to order direct from this vendor. Purchased 8 of them as that is how many I have out each year. My hummers love them. They are durable and take the heat and cold here in Maryland very well and don't get brittle or break. Just love them and got them cheaper than purchasing from Home Depot. In fact, Home Depot doesn't have many of them anymore.

Great feeder, short life span By SBHawk

I had three of these feeders for two years and had no problems with them. Just last month I was changing out the nectar and noticed the plastic reservoir was very brittle. It slipped out of my hands and fell two feet to the grass and shattered. The next day a second one cracked when I was tightening the reservoir to the base...I live in southern California and there is a problem with air quality but the feeders should last longer than that.

Hummingbird Magnet! By warf
We purchased four of these feeders right after the first hummer hatch of 2016 because of all the birds waiting to feed on our older feeders. WOW! We have quite the flock now...probably up to two dozen+ birds here in late July of 2016. Our dry, hot weather this year has really brought the birds in to feed, especially in early morning and late evening. It will be sad to see them go this year in mid to late September, they are such a joy to watch.

Thank you! By conbon45
I ordered 2 hummingbird feeders for my 94 year old mother and had them delivered to her, since I had just been there, She needed 2 more feeders. I'm glad there was the option to send them to a different address. They were received promptly and and are being put to good use. Thanks for great service..

Effective feeder that\'s easy to re-fuel and clean By marknirena
We've been using these for years. They are easy to fill, easy to maintain, easy to clean and the birds are comfortable with them. That's a home run for the hummers.

hummers love this feeder By big daddy
Although the perch portions of this feeder is a little fragile, this feeder is just what the birds ordered. The ant moat works to keep ants out and the feeder holes are too small for wasps and hornets. Inexpensive and fun to use.

Can\'t clean inside of base. By Laurel
The base does not come apart for cleaning. I thought I was doing a thorough cleaning until I shone a flashlight inside. It was all gunked up with black crud. Small brushes that I purchased do not fill well enough to get the job done. I am disappointed as I bought 4 of these. We have many hummingbirds and the nectar goes quickly. I was cleaning every day but still cannot get rid of all the crud inside the base.
Response From Perky-Pet®
Kelly : Consumer Relations Representative

To get the hard to reach areas of the feeder we recommend using some uncooked rice and water. The rice will work to scrub the areas removing any build up.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We apologize for this experience and hope that this information is helpful. Our Consumer Relations Team can be reached at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any questions.

Hummers favorite, therefore mine. By sally32
First feeder up in the spring, last one down in the fall, but after years of use it is shabby, faded, the base is somewhat loose and a perch has been repaired with hot glue (that held for a few years, the glue shrunk), must be time for a new one. The hummers love it, I fill it at least 3 times a day, it hangs in a window, I love watching them. I have 3 more Perky Pet feeders, one with six ports, 2 with four.

Q.Does the Garden Song Rose Petal feeder come apart for cleaning?  How?

The base and bottle will separate for cleaning. To clean hard to reach places, we recommend using a small handful of uncooked rice and water to swish around inside the feeder.
