1) How do I clean this feeder?! The bird seed accumulated at the bottom of the feeder and got into a glutenous mess and very hard to dislodge and only after i took it apart did I get to the glob. The screws at the bottom of the feeder have rusted. I quite frustrated.
2) Is there a guarantee? Can I return these 2 identical feeders or exchange for 2 that are more easily accessed for cleaning.

is there a seed catcher to put under the bird feeder to catch the shells, seeds, etc to prevent mice

This feeder is a weight-activated feeder and does not have springs. If you have further questions, please call us at 1-855-737-5973.

Do you have replacement feed ports available? The ones in my feeder quickly became brittle and the tips broke off. The feeder is in good condition but no longer retains the seed.
