I cannot twist the top off my newly purchased Squirrel-be-gone Max feeder. How do I do that?

I HAVE THE MAX SQUIRREL BEGON. THE PORTS ARE (6) WORN. I HAVE BEEN USEING DUCK TAPE TO REPAIR . I CANNOT FIND REPLACEMENT PORTS.
