This classic bird feeder doubles the number of ports and perches to 12 and provides extra seed capacity. Simple and

provide you with many years of enjoyment.
Cleaning: Dirty bird feeders spread disease. We recommend cleaning your feeders weekly, or
monthly at a minimum. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the
feeder parts. Clean your feeders outdoors with a large bucket, and always wear gloves when cleaning. Soak your
feeder in a 9:1 solution of water and bleach for 15 minutes. Then use a bird feeder brush to scrub the feeder with
dish soap and water. Refill when completely dry.

of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to http://www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
I have seven of the B-72 feeders. One is 30 plus years old and in the best shape of the seven. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but they’re starting to develop large cracks.
purchased the B-7 and the perches don't fit. Spent about 15 minutes trying to get them through and gave up after hurting my hand. I see other comments about this and having to drill to widen holes, putting perches in the freezer. Why bother correcting this when the manufacturer knows its a problem and still doesn't fix it. Will return. Wouldn't buy anything from this brand again.
These are the most durable bird feeders that I have found. They are built to last a lifetime. However, the Classic feeders do have some issues with northern Michigan climate. Whenever I add another Classic feeder, the first thing I do is remove the 2 washers from the wire hanger. These washers would frequently freeze to the feeder cap and not allow opening the cap for filling. I would have to pound or pry to get it open. A suggestion is to design an extended drip edge for the metal cap. The cap can also freeze to the feeder following a snow melt. Other brands of feeders have designed for this issue.
I bought this a year ago but haven't used it because it has a hole in the bottom and I cannot find a tray that fits under it. Any suggestions? My classic 25 year old two perch model is going strong! It has a solid bottom. Marian
Just received and hung my B-72 feeder. Holds so much feed that I'm hoping I won't need to fill it too often. I did have trouble inserting the metal perches as the holes in the tube were a bit too tight. I would have broken the feeder tube if I pushed any harder. Used a drill to carefully expand the holes just enough that the pins slid in smoothly and still tight.
We bought ours over 35 years ago, and it is still going strong. We initially bought it when we lived on the coast of Texas and during a storm two South American parrots were blown into our yard. They kept breaking off the perches on our cheaper feeders, so we made a leap of faith and bought this one. It worked and has been with us through several moves, and has survived hurricanes, freezing rain, snow, and record breaking hot temperatures. Best product ever sold!
