Attract songbirds to your yard with this reliable, heavy-duty bird feeder. The sturdy metal top, base and ports are powder-coated in forest green and resist chipping or fading, and the ports resist squirrel chewing. The durable UV-stabilized polycarbonate tube keeps seed levels visible so you know when it's time to refill. The feeder can be hung by its sturdy stainless steel bail wire, and the threaded base allows for pole-mounting or the attachment of a seed tray.
Cleaning: Dirty bird feeders spread disease. We recommend cleaning your feeders weekly, or
monthly at a minimum. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the
feeder parts. Clean your feeders outdoors with a large bucket, and always wear gloves when cleaning. Soak your
feeder in a 9:1 solution of water and bleach for 15 minutes. Then use a bird feeder brush to scrub the feeder with
dish soap and water. Refill when completely dry.

of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to http://www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
I've had this model for more than three years. It's very sturdy and easy to disassemble. I let go of the cable holding it up and it plummeted to the ground hitting a sharp rock, fracturing the plexiglas tube. Thankfully Droll Yankee stocks replacement parts for it! Made a call and had the parts promptly. I was able to swap out a few parts and put it right back in service instead of just tossing it in the landfill. Thanks DY!
My birds and I are all happy with our new Droll Yankee feeder. (My last one was chewed up by a bear.) Many thanks to the customer service person who found the bottom screw piece for a suet cage!
Love it. Just like the old one I've had for many many years. Just a little concerned about very bottom of them being loose. Not sure if the bottom piece is supposed to be able to move/wiggle. Otherwise great quality, easy to purchase on line, and was timely shipped.
Finally! A quality bird feeder that is mystifying the squirrels and that the birds love. I have searched long and hard and plan to purchase another one in the near future.
We have a number of Droll Yankee bird feeders. This is the first 23 inch one. Love it. More ports and it doesn’t need to be refilled as often.
And, it is possible to order some parts to repair the feeders too.
Excellent product! I've had this for several years - longer than I can remember. The squirrels have chewed on the metal more than I thought they would, but I am very impressed at the strength of the plastic. A few years ago a bear took a bite and cracked the plastic, but it was still very usable. Again two weeks ago a bear took the feeder down, added another crack, but must have been able to open the top and was able to empty the feeder. Well, about 2am this morning Mr. Bear came back. Must have had a little trouble opening the top this time. I watched him carry it a few hundred feet away before laying down with it. I could hear him repeatedly crunching into it. I retrieved the feeder when I woke up later this morning. It took three bear hits over the last several years to finally completely demolish it. I tried to attach a photo of the remains, but that apparently isn't allowed. Very impressive product, which I will definitely be repurchasing.
I've been using this feeder for many, many years. It is easy to fill using a Droll Yankee seed scoop. It is also fairly easy to clean. I have gone through several tubes because of squirrel damage, but recently, some critter finally managed to break one of the metal feeding ports! I came home one day to find the feeder hanging at an odd angle and discovered one of the bottom, metal feeding ports was broken and part of it was missing. The squirrels have chewed on them over the years but I can't imagine how they finally manage to break one. All-in-all, this is a very good bird feeder.
Nice feeder. I bought it because of the metal parts. I can't deter the squirrels but at least they can't chew this one up. I might try upgrading to a squirrel proof feeder in the future. The first one I bought was plastic and they chewed it up anyway.
